Description
This lot consists of 50 rounds of Swiss GP11 rifle ammunition, housed in five original white cardboard boxes. Chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss, this ammunition was produced for use in the Schmidt-Rubin series of rifles, including the K11 and K31. Each box contains 10 rounds and features trilingual labeling identifying the contents as Gewehrpatrone 11 in German, cartouche 11 pour fusil in French, and cartuccia 11 per fucile in Italian. Prominent markings on the packaging include the quantity Anzahl 10, the caliber 7,5 mm, and the specific designation 7,5mm GP 11. A large black numerical identifier 591-1100 is printed in the center of each box face. The lower portion of each box contains a tan-colored band with specific lot and date codes: three boxes are marked 30.11.78 T, one is marked 16. 5. 78 A, and one is marked 5.10.78 A, indicating production in 1978.
Condition report:
The original cardboard packaging is in good condition, showing light surface scuffing, minor edge wear, and faint handling marks consistent with surplus storage. The printed text remains sharp and clearly legible on all surfaces. The ammunition appears to be in its original, unissued state with no visible corrosion or degradation to the cases. We have not function-tested this ammunition.
