Lot 270:
Sold for: $450
Description
This Uberti 1875 Army Outlaw is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 Colt, designed as a faithful reproduction of the Remington Model 1875. The firearm features a 7.5-inch blued barrel with a distinctive integrated web, a six-shot fluted cylinder, and a blued backstrap. The frame and hammer display a vivid case-hardened finish, contrasted by a polished brass trigger guard. The revolver is equipped with smooth one-piece walnut grips. Verbatim markings on the left side of the barrel include 1875 OUTLAW model—CAL. 45, while the top of the barrel is stamped EMF S.A. CAL.—MADE IN ITALY. The left side of the frame features Italian proof marks, a coat of arms, a PSi proof, a BH date code within a rectangle indicating a 1996 manufacture, and CAT. 1544. The serial number 21802 is located on the underside of the grip frame. The firearm is accompanied by its original factory box, which identifies the model as an 1875 ARMY SA OUTLAW REV. and bears the matching serial number. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in very good overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel, cylinder, and backstrap remains largely intact with only minor handling wear and a faint turn line on the cylinder. The case-hardened finish on the frame and hammer is bright and vibrant. The wood grips are well-preserved with a few faint compression marks from handling. The brass trigger guard shows a light natural patina. The action appears to function correctly with positive clicks and a solid lockup. The original factory box exhibits moderate shelf wear, including corner scuffs and some surface loss, but remains structurally sound with a clear, matching end label.
