Description
This is a single Zastava Model M70A semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, a modern variant of the Yugoslavian Tokarev design. The firearm features a 4.5-inch barrel and a blued steel finish on the slide and frame. It is equipped with black plastic grip panels featuring vertical serrations, a circular central emblem, and a lanyard loop integrated into the base of the frame. The pistol is designed with an external hammer, a slide-mounted manual safety lever, and fixed iron sights. All prominent markings are present and clearly legible: the left side of the slide is marked M70 A Cal. 9mm and the left side of the frame is marked ZASTAVA, SERBIA. The right side of the slide bears the importer mark C.A.I. GEORGIA, VT, while the right side of the frame includes the serial number Z-M70A-0003914 along with the warning Read Owners Manual Before Use. The lot includes one single-stack magazine with witness holes, marked with 9 and M70A in red ink. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good overall condition, retaining much of its original blued finish. There are visible surface scratches on the slide and light edge wear to the bluing, particularly around the muzzle and controls. The exposed portion of the barrel shows minor discoloration and light surface oxidation. The bore appears clean with defined rifling. The plastic grips are well-preserved with no cracks or significant chips. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though the firearm has not been test-fired.
