Description
The Zastava Model 70 is a compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP), originally developed as a sidearm for Yugoslavian military and police forces. This example features a blued steel slide and frame configured with a single-action trigger mechanism and manual frame-mounted safety. The pistol is fitted with fixed blade front and notch rear sights and carries two-piece black checkered polymer grip panels featuring a stylized CZ logo. Extensive markings include the manufacturer and model designation on the left side of the slide, CRVENA ZASTAVA-Cal 7.65mm Mod 70, and the country of origin on the right side, MADE IN YUGOSLAVIA. The serial number 260750 is visible on the right side of the frame, the slide (prefixed with G-), and the barrel hood. An import mark on the right side of the frame reads R GUNS CARPENTERSVILLE IL. The lot includes one single-stack detachable box magazine with a floorplate marked 7.65mm, a wire-handled cleaning brush, and a white cardboard box with M70 / 260750 handwritten in black marker. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol retains a significant portion of its original blued finish, exhibiting moderate handling wear including surface scratches and thinning on the sharp edges of the slide and frame. The checkered polymer grips are in good condition with minor scuffs and well-defined texture. The bore was not inspected, but the exterior of the barrel and the feed ramp appear clean. The action appears to function correctly, though the firearm has not been test-fired. The included magazine shows typical finish wear from insertion and removal. The cardboard box shows storage wear and aging but remains structurally sound.
