Description

This lot consists of 85 rounds of .303 British centerfire ammunition organized on metal stripper clips. The cartridges feature rimmed, bottlenecked cases with visible annealing marks at the shoulder and neck, characteristic of military-specification manufacturing. The ammunition is loaded with copper-jacketed spitzer projectiles, and the primers are protected by a green lacquer sealant for moisture resistance. The rounds are held in steel stripper clips, with at least one clip stamped with the letters BP. Verification of the cartridge headstamps reveals numeric markings including a 7 at the twelve o clock position and what appears to be an 18 or 10 at the six o clock position. This ammunition is presented in two plain white cardboard boxes.

Condition report:

The ammunition is in good overall condition. The brass cases show light surface tarnish and minor oxidation consistent with age. The copper-jacketed bullets exhibit small spots of corrosion and darkening but remain intact. The black-finished steel stripper clips show some finish wear and minor surface oxidation but remain mechanically functional. All rounds appear to be live; however, they have not been tested for reliability or performance and are sold as collectible items.
