Description

This lot consists of 121 rounds of .303 British centerfire rifle ammunition, featuring a variety of commercial and military-style loads suitable for use in Lee-Enfield and similar rifles. The collection is organized into three containers including one blue Frankford Arsenal plastic storage box, one black Remington plastic ammunition tray, and a large clear plastic storage bag containing loose cartridges. A diverse range of projectile types is present, including soft point hunting bullets with exposed lead tips and full metal jacket spire point projectiles. Headstamps on the cartridge bases include commercial markings such as W-W SUPER 303 BRITISH, R-P 303 BRITISH, and SUPER HSL 303 BRITISH, while military surplus rounds are marked with stamps such as 50 R L and 50 H L. The brass cases and projectiles show varying manufacturers and age-related characteristics, representing a comprehensive bulk lot for the shooter or collector.

Condition report:

The ammunition is in mixed, generally good condition. The brass cartridge cases show a range of surface finishes from bright and clean to heavily tarnished with areas of surface oxidation and light verdigris, particularly on the loose rounds and military surplus items. The projectiles exhibit typical surface dulling, with some oxidation visible on the exposed lead of the soft point tips. All 121 rounds are live and unfired, with primers intact and seated correctly. The plastic storage trays and box show minor surface scuffing from handling.
