Sold for: $1,050
Description
This lot features a Swedish military-pattern Husqvarna Lahti M/40 semi-automatic pistol chambered for 9mm Luger and configured with a 4.75 inch barrel. The pistol is constructed with a blued steel finish and features black checkered plastic grip panels embossed with a crowned HV logo. Sighting is provided by a fixed front blade and a rear notch. Key markings include HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B. and the serial number D12006 stamped on the left side of the slide and frame. The right side of the frame is marked SWEDEN, while the rear of the frame below the bolt features a small proof mark of a crown over H.V. The pistol is accompanied by two magazines, a worn brown leather flap holster, a metal cleaning rod, and a magazine loading tool. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol retains a good portion of its original blued finish with moderate holster wear on the sharp edges of the slide, the grip straps, and the barrel. The bore appears bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly, although the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The grip panels are in good condition with minor smoothing to the checkering. The included leather holster exhibits significant surface wear, scuffing, and cracking consistent with age and field use.
