Lot 400:
Prvi Partizan M30 Heavy Ball 7.62x54R Ammunition 135 Rounds
Sold for: $110
Description
This lot consists of a total of 135 rounds of Yugoslavian military surplus 7.62x54R ammunition manufactured by Prvi Partizan in 1976. The ammunition is packaged in nine individual cardboard boxes, each containing 15 rounds, and the entire group is sealed within a clear plastic storage bag. These cartridges utilize the M30 heavy ball projectile, which is a lead-core, boat-tail design typically weighing approximately 182 grains. The label on each box is printed in Serbian Cyrillic and features the following verbatim markings: 15 комада, 7,62 MM METAK са тешким зрном M30 – (J). Additional production and lot codes inscribed on the label include НЦД-02/Р, ППУ 7604, and МБЛ 7622. The reverse of each box displays a purple circular ink stamp with various numbers including 7, 12, 13, 17, 18, and 20. The cartridges are brass-cased and Berdan primed, consistent with period military specifications for use in bolt-action rifles and machine guns.
Condition report:
The nine cardboard boxes are in good condition with minor shelf wear and light age-related discoloration. The clear plastic bag remains factory sealed and intact. The brass ammunition cases exhibit a light, uniform patina consistent with their 1976 manufacture date, showing no signs of significant corrosion, oxidation, or verdigris. The primers appear undisturbed and the ammunition appears to be in well-preserved, live condition.
