Description
This lot features a DWM P.08 Luger semi-automatic toggle-action pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. The firearm is configured with a standard 4 inch barrel and military style fixed sights including a front blade and V-notch rear integrated into the toggle. The pistol retains a thinned blued steel finish with two-piece checkered walnut grips. Key markings include the DWM monogram on the top of the toggle link and the full serial number 70747 found on the front of the frame and the underside of the barrel. The last two digits of the serial number, 47, are stamped on small components including the side plate and toggle. Barrel markings specify the bore diameter as 8,82 and the right side of the receiver is stamped with three crown-over-character proof marks. The lot is accompanied by one bright-finished detachable box magazine with a dark base marked 1 over 5204 and a black Plano Protector Series plastic single pistol hard case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows significant thinning and holster wear across the receiver and muzzle, with areas transitioning to a grey-brown patina. Visible surface oxidation and scattered minor pitting are present on the side plate, frame, and grip straps. The action appears to function correctly through manual cycling, though it has not been function tested. The checkered walnut grips show moderate wear and smoothing of the texture from historical use, along with typical oil staining and minor dings. The included magazine exhibits minor surface wear and light oxidation.
