A Lot of 100 Rounds of .45 ACP Ball Ammunition
Sold for: $60
Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of .45 ACP caliber ball ammunition housed in two cardboard boxes styled after military-issue packaging. The first box is marked 50 CARTRIDGES CALIBER .45 BALL M1911, LOT RA 33003, and REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC. The second box is printed with 50 CARTRIDGES CALIBER .45 BALL M1911, WCC 79G004-018, and OLIN CORPORATION. Upon inspection, the boxes contain a mixed assortment of commercial cartridges with various headstamps, including S & B 45 AUTO, OLIN .45 AUTO, C.B.C. 45 AUTO, and A-MERC 45 AUTO. The cartridges are configured with brass cases and copper-jacketed round-nose bullets. Several primers show a red sealant application. The cardboard boxes exhibit age-related shelf wear, light staining, and minor abrasions consistent with long-term storage or handling.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear with softened corners, light staining, and minor abrasions. The ammunition appears to be in functional condition with clean brass cases, though some light surface tarnishing is present on select rounds. The contents are mixed commercial manufacturers and do not match the military-style markings on the external packaging. The ammunition appears live and shows no signs of significant corrosion.
