Description

This lot consists of fifty rounds of .303 British caliber ball ammunition produced by the Greek Powder and Cartridge Company. The ammunition is mounted on ten black metal five-round stripper clips and is housed within a military-pattern green canvas ammunition bandolier featuring five internal pockets. The cartridges utilize rimmed brass cases that show distinct heat-treatment annealing around the neck and shoulder area, copper-jacketed spitzer bullets, and green sealant around the primer pockets. Verbatim markings stenciled on the front of the bandolier include CAL. 303 BALL, 5 RD CLIPS, and HXP 47 75, where the number 47 has been obscured by a black rectangular stamp. The individual cartridge headstamps are clearly marked with the manufacturer code HXP and the year of production 75. The bandolier includes a sewn-on shoulder strap for carrying.

Condition report:

The ammunition is in very good condition and appears to be live. The brass cases are clean and free of significant oxidation or corrosion, and the copper jackets on the projectiles remain bright. The green primer sealant is intact on all visible rounds. The black metal stripper clips are in good condition with minor surface wear to the finish. The green canvas bandolier shows light signs of storage and handling, including minor surface soiling and light fraying at the seams, but remains fully functional with all pockets and the strap intact.
