Description

This lot consists of 98 rounds of hand-loaded 7mm Mauser ammunition accompanied by four vintage Winchester Western cardboard boxes. The cartridges utilize brass cases featuring headstamps verbatim as W-W SUPER 7mm MAUSER and are seated with a variety of copper-jacketed soft-point projectiles. The included packaging includes three boxes originally for 20 Center Fire Cartridge Cases and one box for 20 Center Fire Cartridges, all of which bear extensive handwritten ballistic data and reloader records. These notations detail the use of 139 grain, 140 grain, and 150 grain bullets from manufacturers including Speer, Hornady, and Nosler, along with load dates ranging from 1988 to 1999. The records further specify the use of 4350 powder and Winchester Large Rifle primers. The ammunition is presented in both plastic and cardboard dividers.

Condition report:

The brass cartridge cases show varying degrees of surface tarnish and natural age patina consistent with long-term storage. The copper-jacketed bullets exhibit some dulling and minor oxidation to the exposed lead soft points. The vintage cardboard boxes display significant shelf wear, including fraying at the corners, adhesive tape, and extensive ink notations throughout. As this is hand-loaded ammunition, we have not tested these rounds for consistency or safety, and they are sold as components for display or salvage.
