Description

This collection contains 288 rounds of 7.62x25mm Tokarev ammunition produced by Cartoucherie de Toulouse in France. The lot is comprised of four cardboard boxes, each containing a portion of the total count of brass-cased cartridges topped with copper-jacketed full metal jacket bullets. Prominent markings include circular ink stamps on the box exteriors reading KT over 133 and purple ink stamps with the number 6239. The cartridge headstamps verbatim specify the origin and date with the manufacturer code 13 at the 12 o’clock position and either 52 or 53 at the 6 o’clock position, indicating manufacture in 1952 or 1953. The cartridges are seated in internal paper dividers within the plain brown cardboard packaging. The brass casings exhibit a clean surface with a mild patina, and the copper-jacketed projectiles appear well-maintained.

Condition report:

The brass cartridge cases are in good condition, exhibiting a light, age-appropriate patina but no evidence of heavy oxidation or verdigris. Primers appear undisturbed and free of corrosion. The copper-jacketed bullets remain bright and well-seated in the case mouths. The four cardboard boxes show standard shelf wear, including surface scuffing, edge fraying, and small tears to the flaps and corners. Adhesive tape remnants are present on the exterior of the boxes. While the ammunition appears to be live and well-preserved, its functionality has not been tested.
