Lot 572:
Sold for: $40
Description
This lot consists of 20 Norma brand 6.5×54 Mannlicher-Schoenauer (MS) brass cartridge cases intended for reloading. The components are housed in a cardboard box featuring a wood-grain pattern with red graphics. Verbatim markings on the front include norma, 20, 6.5×54 MS, and Brass cartridge cases. The side of the box further specifies the caliber as 6.5×54 MS. On the reverse, the packaging is marked MADE BY NORMA PROJEKTILFABRIK, ÅMOTFORS, SWEDEN and includes a Handloader’s Notes section. This section contains handwritten entries for a shooter named KARL SARLUND, specifying a load using F210 primers, 4064 powder at a 30 grain weight, and H129 bullets. A white inventory tag on the front is marked 813052, and the number 5252 is written in the upper right corner. The box is currently enclosed in a clear plastic protective wrap.
Condition report:
The cardboard box displays moderate shelf wear, including softened corners and some surface scuffing consistent with age. The printed graphics remain legible, though there is light fading to the red pigment. Handwritten ink markings are clear on the front and reverse. The clear plastic wrap is intact but shows some handling wear and surface dust. The brass cases remain inside the box and have not been individually inspected for tarnish or structural integrity.
