Description

This lot consists of 47 rounds of assorted centerfire pistol ammunition presented in a white plastic 50-round storage tray with a matching lid. The majority of the cartridges are bottlenecked 7.63mm Mauser rounds. Key markings on the headstamps of these rounds include the transcription W.R.A. CO. 7.63 MAUSER, identifying them as manufacture by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. Also included in the collection are several rounds with headstamps transcribed as REM-UMC .30 LUGER, produced by the Remington-Union Metallic Cartridge Company. The rounds feature brass cases and jacketed round-nose bullets. The white plastic box lid bears handwritten text in black ink that reads 7.63 LUGER, which is likely a prior owner notation. The ammunition is housed in a standard 50-round plastic grid tray, though the total count provided is 47 individual cartridges.

Condition report:

The ammunition appears to be in mixed vintage condition. The brass cases exhibit varying degrees of natural tarnish, patina, and superficial oxidation consistent with age and storage. Several primers show darkened surfaces or light corrosion. The jacketed bullets show light dulling and minor surface oxidation. The rounds appear to be live and unspent. The plastic storage tray and lid are functional with some light staining and the aforementioned handwritten markings on the lid.
