Description
This lot consists of a box of 50 Remington-UMC .22 Long Rifle Palma cartridges featuring Lesmok semi-smokeless powder. The orange cardboard box is printed with black text and red logos emphasizing accuracy for target shooting and competition. Key markings on the top include the model designation .22 LONG RIFLE PALMA and 50 R. F. CARTRIDGES. The red circular logo is marked REMINGTON UMC and the manufacturer is listed as REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. SUCCESSOR TO THE REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE COMPANY INC. Condition report:
The orange cardboard box exhibits moderate age-related wear including frayed edges, minor corner tearing on the lid, and slight surface staining, though all text and graphics remain clear. The ammunition shows a natural darkened patina on the brass cases and a white oxidation layer on the lead bullets consistent with vintage cartridges. The cartridges appear to be live.
