Description
This lot consists of sixty rounds of Norma brand .240 Weatherby Magnum centerfire rifle ammunition, divided among three retail boxes of twenty cartridges each. These cartridges feature 100-grain (6.5-gram) semi-pointed soft point projectiles seated in factory-fresh brass casings. The vintage-style cardboard packaging features a woodgrain pattern with red highlights. Verbatim markings on the front and top of the boxes include the manufacturer name norma and the caliber designation .240 WBY Mag. The end flaps are explicitly marked with 20 Pcs No 16020, 100 GRAINS SP SEMI POINTED, 6.5 GRAM BLYSPETS HALVSPETS, and the code 611501. The cartridge headstamps are clearly struck with the manufacturer and caliber as NORMA .240 WBY MAG. The cartridges are held internally within red plastic tray inserts.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good overall condition with the brass casings showing a bright finish and the primers remaining unspent. The cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear and age-related degradation, including scuffing at the edges, softened corners, and one box featuring a significant area of surface paper loss on the front face where a previous label was removed. The ammunition appears live and functional, though we have not independently laboratory tested the propellant or primers.
