Description
This Ithaca Model 100 12-gauge side-by-side shotgun was custom manufactured for Ithaca by SKB in Japan and is chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells. The firearm features blued steel barrels fitted with a raised checkered rib and a contrasting orange front sight bead. The blued receiver is decorated with scroll-style engraving on both the left and right sides and is equipped with a single trigger and a tang-mounted safety. The furniture consists of a checkered walnut beavertail forend and a matching checkered walnut buttstock fitted with a black plastic grip cap and a Pachmayr White Line ventilated rubber recoil pad. Key markings on the barrels include CUSTOM CRAFTED FOR ITHACA BY SKB and MODEL 100 – 12GA-2 3/4 CHAMBER-PROOF TESTED as well as ITHACA GUN CO., INC., ITHACA, N.Y. MADE IN JAPAN-ROTO [anvil logo] FORGED. The barrel flats are stamped with the serial number S 5121887 along with NP, MOD, and FULL choke designations. The serial number S 5121887 is also clearly stamped on the underside of the receiver. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The original blued finish is well-preserved across the barrels and receiver, exhibiting only light superficial scratches and minor areas of surface oxidation along the checkered rib. The walnut stock and forend show numerous small dings, scratches, and pressure marks consistent with field use. The black plastic grip cap is significantly chipped at the edges. The Pachmayr recoil pad shows age but remains pliable. The bores are bright and clean, and the action appears to function correctly, locking up tightly. We have not function-tested this firearm.
