Description
This lot features a pair of blued steel replacement barrels for the Thompson/Center break-action handgun system. The first barrel is designed for the Encore model and is chambered in 7mm BR Remington with a 10 inch length, featuring factory front and rear iron sights and four drilled and tapped holes for an optic mount. The second barrel is intended for the Contender model and is chambered in 7mm T/CU with a 10 inch length, similarly equipped with adjustable iron sights and a standard mounting lug. Key markings on the Encore barrel include ENCORE THOMPSON / CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE 7mm BR Rem. and it retains a white identification sticker. Markings on the Contender barrel specify THOMPSON : CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, N. H. 7 MM T/CU with a star-style proof mark located on the side of the mounting lug. Both barrels feature bright bores with sharp, crisp rifling throughout. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
Both barrels exhibit a high-polish blued finish with approximately 95 percent coverage remaining, showing only light surface scuffs and minor handling marks consistent with careful use. The 7mm T/CU barrel shows slight thinning of the finish on the mounting lug and some minute scratches on the barrel surface. The bores are bright with no signs of pitting or erosion. The iron sights are intact and the adjustment screws appear to be in good working order.
