Description
This Taurus Tracker is a double-action, seven-shot revolver chambered in .17 HMR, designed for target shooting and small-game hunting. It features a 6.5-inch barrel equipped with a ventilated rib and porting at the muzzle to reduce recoil. The firearm is constructed with a matte stainless steel finish on the frame and cylinder. It is fitted with black textured rubber Ribber grips that provide a secure hold and feature a Taurus logo medallion at the base. Sighting is achieved through a fixed front blade with an orange insert and an adjustable black rear target sight. Key markings include .17 HMR and TRACKER on the left side of the barrel, and TAURUS alongside serial number ZD381913 on the right side. The right side of the frame is marked TAURUS INT. MFG. MIAMI, FL. – USA, MADE IN BRAZIL, and ZD381913. When the cylinder is open, the yoke and frame are stamped with the assembly number 8586. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte stainless steel finish is in overall very good condition, showing light surface scratches and minor handling marks. Visible carbon residue is present around the porting holes and on the cylinder face from prior use. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The textured rubber grips are well-preserved, exhibiting only light surface wear and minor dirt in the grooves. The action is smooth in both single and double action, and the cylinder lockup is tight.
