Description
A lot of 150 rounds of Winchester 9mm Luger (Parabellum) centerfire ammunition, consisting of three original boxes of 50 cartridges each. The collection includes one yellow box of Winchester Center Fire Cartridges and two red and yellow boxes of Winchester Staynless cartridges. The yellow box contains 50 rounds with gray-finished steel cases, copper-jacketed bullets, and brass primers, with headstamps verbatim as WIN 9mm LUGER. The two Staynless boxes contain brass-cased ammunition with copper-jacketed bullets; one box features rounds with purple primer sealant while the other features red primer sealant, both displaying headstamps verbatim as W.R.A. 9m/m LUGER. Packaging markings indicate the cartridges are non-mercuric and oilproof, noting suitability for the Luger, Walther P38, and other semi-automatic pistols. The boxes are prominently marked Winchester, 9 m/m Luger (Parabellum), and Staynless.
Condition report:
The three vintage cardboard boxes exhibit typical age-related wear, including shelf wear, edge fraying, corner softening, and surface staining, although the packaging remains intact. The ammunition shows varying degrees of oxidation and tarnish. The gray steel cases in the yellow box have a dull matte finish with light surface patina, while the brass-cased rounds in the Staynless boxes show expected surface dulling and minor spotty tarnish. The primers and sealants appear undisturbed. The ammunition is visually consistent with live rounds, but as vintage collectible items, the reliability of the primers and powder has not been tested and cannot be guaranteed.
