Description
This lot features a Ruger New Model Blackhawk single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The firearm is constructed from stainless steel and features a 6.5 inch barrel with a traditional right-side mounted ejector rod housing. The revolver is equipped with a six-shot fluted cylinder and is fitted with smooth, reddish-brown wood grips featuring silver-toned medallions with the Ruger eagle logo. Sighting is provided by a fixed ramp front sight and a micro-adjustable rear sight. Key markings on the left side of the frame include RUGER .357 MAGNUM CAL. and NEW MODEL BLACKHAWK, while the right side of the frame bears the serial number 37-97456. The right side of the barrel is stamped with the manufacturer safety warning and the Newport, NH, USA address. The firearm is accompanied by a blue-patterned soft zipper case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel finish is in excellent condition, showing only minor handling marks and a faint turn line on the cylinder. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The single-action mechanism appears to function correctly with a crisp trigger pull and solid cylinder lock-up. The wood grips are in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. The firearm appears to have been well-maintained with minimal signs of use.
