Description
This Ruger Mini-14 semi-automatic rifle is chambered in .223 caliber and configured in a paratrooper model style with a folding stock. The firearm features an 18.5-inch stainless steel barrel and a matching stainless steel receiver. The rifle is housed in a black synthetic stock with a checkered pistol grip and is fitted with a stainless steel side-folding skeleton stock equipped with a black rubber recoil pad manufactured by the Butler Creek Corporation. A black polymer ventilated handguard covers the barrel and gas system. Verbatim markings on the rear receiver bridge include RUGER, MINI-14 ®, and CAL. .223. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the serial number 186-43771 and the manufacturer attribution: STURM, RUGER & CO., INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. along with a safety warning regarding the instruction manual. The rifle is equipped with a blade front sight, a protected aperture rear sight, and includes one detachable curved box magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel finish is in good condition, showing minor surface wear, light scuffing, and small handling marks. The synthetic stock and polymer handguard exhibit light scratches and minor dings consistent with use. The side-folding stock mechanism remains tight and locks securely in both the open and closed positions. The bore appears bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, but we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
