Description
This lot features 80 rounds of .35 RCM ammunition, comprising three boxes of Winchester Super-X and one vintage box of Remington High Velocity centerfire rifle cartridges. The Winchester ammunition is loaded with 200-grain Power-Point bullets, while the Remington High Velocity cartridges are housed in a classic green box. A visual inspection of the headstamps reveals verbatim markings including W-W SUPER 35 REM on the Winchester brass, and both R-P 35 REM and REM-UMC 35 REM on the Remington brass. The cartridges are seated in plastic or foam trays, with each box containing 20 rounds for a total of 80. The Winchester boxes are identified by the manufacturer code X35R1. This collection provides a selection of vintage and contemporary ammunition suitable for the .35 Remington caliber.
Condition report:
The Winchester Super-X boxes show light to moderate shelf wear with some rubbing and minor edge fraying, though they remain structurally sound. The vintage Remington High Velocity box is in poor condition, exhibiting heavy wear, significant tearing, creasing, and missing end flaps. The brass casings show varying degrees of surface oxidation and tarnishing consistent with age and storage. The soft point lead tips exhibit some oxidation. The cartridges appear to be live and in functional condition.
