Description
This Hornady Custom-Grade New Dimension three-die reloading set is designed for reloading .458 Winchester Magnum cartridges. The set includes a full-length sizing and decapping die, an expander die, and a seating die, all featuring a matte steel finish with knurled bodies and knurled lock rings. The components are housed in their original red plastic Hornady case with a foam-lined lid. Verbatim markings on the case label identify the set as Hornady Custom-Grade New Dimension Dies, Series I, 3 Die Set, 458 WIN MAG, and FULL LENGTH, with the instruction to Use Shellholder #5. Note that the shell holder is not included with this lot, although a loose rubber O-ring is present within the case. The exterior of the red case is embossed with a large Hornady H logo.
Condition report:
The steel dies show areas of light surface oxidation and scattered rust spots across the matte finish, consistent with storage and prior use. The threads and knurled adjustment surfaces remain well-defined and functional. The plastic storage case is in good overall condition with some exterior scuffing and adhesive residue on the identification label. The interior foam padding is intact but shows compression and minor degradation.
