Description
This Browning Auto-5 Twenty model semi-automatic shotgun is chambered for 20 gauge shells and is configured with a 2 3/4 inch chamber. The barrel features a blued finish and is marked BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q. on the left side and SPECIAL STEEL-20GA-SHELLS 2 3/4″ on the right, with MADE IN BELGIUM also present. The receiver is decorated with scroll engraving and bears the model name Twenty in script, the BROWNING name with a registered trademark symbol, and a portrait of John Browning. The shotgun is equipped with a gold-toned trigger and a single bead front sight. The furniture consists of a high-gloss finished checkered walnut stock and a matching finger-groove forend. The black plastic buttplate features the FN logo and is marked BROWNING AUTOMATIC. The serial number 1Z 49805 is stamped on the underside of the receiver forward of the loading port. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in good used condition, retaining a high percentage of its original blued finish with some light handling wear and minor thinning at the edges of the receiver. The walnut stock and forend show several surface scratches and small dings consistent with field use, particularly on the left side of the buttstock, while the checkering remains sharp and well-defined. The bore is bright and clean with no visible pitting. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
