Amber, John T. (Editor) and Bob Brister. A collection of 8 signed reloading books and firearms reference volumes, notably featuring significant association copies inscribed to legendary firearms authority and author Elmer Keith. The group includes multiple editions of Gun Digest (1962, 1969, 1970, 1975, and one undated volume), Handloader’s Digest (5th Anniversary De Luxe Edition), Guns of the World, and Bob Brister’s Shotgunning: The Art and the Science.

Multiple volumes are inscribed to Elmer Keith by John T. Amber, the long-time editor of Gun Digest. The collection consists of seven large-format softcover volumes in pictorial wrappers and one hardcover volume with its original dust jacket. Publishers include The Gun Digest Company of Chicago and Northfield, Illinois, and Winchester Press.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall good condition. The softcover volumes show typical shelf wear commensurate with age, including edge rubbing, minor creasing to the wrappers, and occasional corner bumps. Several volumes bear modern red and white sale price stickers on the front covers. The hardcover edition of Shotgunning includes its original dust jacket, which exhibits minor edge wear and light surface rubbing. Internal pages are generally clean throughout the collection, with clear and legible manuscript inscriptions in ink.
