Description
This lot consists of twenty-five rounds of Remington Express Extra Long Range 16-gauge shotgun shells, housed in their original collectible cardboard packaging. The shells feature a 2 3/4-inch length, a 3-dram equivalent powder charge, 1 1/8 oz. of shot, and a #7 1/2 shot size. Prominent markings on the green and red box include Remington Express and EXTRA LONG RANGE in stylized script and block lettering. The face of the box is further marked SMOKELESS WETPROOF SHOT SHELLS and KLEANBORE PRIMING, with the DuPont logo displayed. The lower red section states NEW REMINGTON CRIMP and MADE IN U.S.A. Side panel information specifies the gauge as 16 GA., the length as 2 3/4 IN., the product code RX16-7 1/2, and the load data 3-1 1/8-7 1/2. Condition report:
The ammunition box is currently sealed in a clear protective plastic wrap, which prevents direct inspection of the individual shells. The cardboard box retains vibrant green and red coloration with minimal fading. Minor shelf wear and light rounding are visible at the corners. There are no significant tears, punctures, or structural failures apparent through the plastic. Based on external inspection, the ammunition appears to be in well-preserved, live condition, though functionality has not been tested.
