Description
This lot consists of approximately 200 ammunition reloading components and three storage boxes. The collection includes two black DoubleTap Ammunition boxes and one vintage red cardboard box featuring a decorative scalloped edge. Inside the boxes is a quantity of copper-jacketed soft point bullets with knurled cannelures, consistent with 200 grain projectiles. The lot also contains sixteen cast lead hardcast bullets, each designed with three grooves filled with blue wax lubricant and a copper gas check at the base. Prominent markings on the black boxes are transcribed verbatim as DOUBLETAP AMMUNITION within a blue and grey oval, along with a United States flag and the statement Made with Pride in the U.S.A. This lot contains projectile components only; no brass casings, primers, or powder are included.
Condition report:
The black DoubleTap boxes show moderate shelf wear, including scuffing and minor corner compression. The vintage red box displays age-related staining, surface wear, and foxing. The copper-jacketed bullets exhibit minor surface oxidation on the lead tips, while the lead bullets remain in good condition with consistent lubrication. All items are inert reloading components.
