Description
This lot consists of two vintage rifle scopes designed for .22 caliber rimfire firearms. The first unit is a Bushnell Scopechief TwentyTwo, which bears the inscription BUSHNELL 4 POWER SCOPECHIEF TWENTYTWO on the main tube. It is a fixed 4x magnification optic featuring a fine crosshair reticle and an integral 3/8 inch dovetail mount for grooved receivers. The second unit is a vintage Weaver rimfire scope, marked WEAVER EL PASO TEX US on the objective end and WEAVER on the integrated mounting base. This optic features a slim steel tube construction, a standard crosshair reticle, and a clamp-style mounting system for grooved receivers. The mounting base is further marked with patent number 2803908. Both scopes are equipped with adjustable turrets for windage and elevation.
Condition report:
Both optics appear functional with clear lenses and intact reticles. The Bushnell Scopechief shows light external wear to the finish and minor handling marks. The Weaver scope exhibits more significant surface wear, including thinning to the blued finish and scattered pinprick oxidation across the tube and mount consistent with age. Windage and elevation adjustment screws on both units appear operational.
