Description
This lot consists of two silver bullion rounds produced by private refiners, featuring the iconic Indian Head and Buffalo design modeled after the historic United States Buffalo Nickel. Each round is marked on the reverse with 1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER. The obverse of both rounds displays a profile portrait of a Native American man with the word LIBERTY at the upper right. One round is dated 2015 at the lower left, while the other is undated and features a mint mark attributed to the Highland Mint below the braid. The reverse of each round depicts an American Bison on a mound with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM. Both pieces are finished with reeded edges.
Total precious metal content: 2 troy ounces .999 fine silver.
Condition report:
The rounds are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition with strong original luster. There are visible surface contact marks, light handling scratches, and several small white milk spots on both the obverse and reverse fields of both rounds.
