Description
This lot features a Savage Arms Model 1907 semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .32 caliber, accompanied by one magazine. This firearm is equipped with a 3.75 inch barrel and features a blued steel finish on its slide and frame. The slide is characterized by prominent vertical cocking serrations and an integrated notch rear sight, paired with a fixed blade front sight. The pistol is fitted with its original checkered black hard rubber grips, which display the Savage Indian head logo and the text SAVAGE QUALITY. A manual safety lever is located on the left side of the frame with markings for SAFE and FIRE. Key markings on the top of the slide include the verbatim transcription MANUFACTURED BY SAVAGE ARMS CO. UTICA N.Y. U.S.A. PAT – NOV. 21. 1905. CAL. 32. The serial number 93606 is clearly stamped on the front of the frame below the barrel. The accompanying single-stack magazine is constructed of steel and exhibits a matching surface patina. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good overall condition, retaining a fair amount of its original blued finish which shows areas of thinning, high-edge wear, and a light scattering of surface oxidation and speckling consistent with its age. The checkered hard rubber grips are well-preserved with minor smoothing to the texture but no visible cracks or chips. The magazine shows a consistent brownish-gray patina with some light surface pitting. The action appears to function correctly through manual cycling, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The bore condition was not observed.
