Description
This is an A. Uberti Cattleman single-action revolver, a high-quality Italian-made replica of the iconic Colt Single Action Army, chambered for the .45 Colt cartridge. This specific example features a 7.5-inch barrel and is presented in a polished white steel finish with extensive floral and scroll engraving covering the barrel, frame, cylinder, and backstrap. The revolver is accented by fire-blue screws, a fire-blue trigger, and a fire-blue base pin. The furniture consists of smooth wood grips with a high-gloss reddish-brown finish. The top of the barrel is marked TAYLOR’S & CO. WINCHESTER VA, and the left side of the frame displays the patent dates PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871 / JULY 2. 72. JAN. 19. 75. Additional markings include .45 COLT on the side of the barrel and A. UBERTI – ITALY on the underside. The serial number U90820 is clearly stamped on the bottom of the frame and matches the included factory box. The firearm is equipped with a standard blade front sight and a notched frame rear sight. This lot includes the original manufacturer’s cardboard box, owner’s manual, and associated paperwork. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in excellent, like-new condition, retaining virtually all of its original polished white finish and fire-blue accents. The engraving is sharp and deep across all surfaces. The bore is bright with crisp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly with solid lockup and indexing. The wood grips are in exceptional condition with no visible dings or scratches to the high-gloss finish. The original box shows only minor storage wear at the corners.
