Description
A pair of US Morgan silver dollars. One coin is dated 1896 and was struck at the Philadelphia mint. The second coin is dated 1890 and features an S mint mark on the reverse, indicating production at the San Francisco mint. Both specimens are struck in a silver composition of .900 fineness. The coins feature the Morgan obverse and reverse designs. Each coin has a reeded edge. The Morgan dollar was the first standard silver dollar minted since the passage of the Coinage Act of 1873.

Composition: 90% silver, 10% copper.
Condition report:
Both coins are in circulated condition, exhibiting heavy wear on the high points of the design, specifically Liberty\'s hair and the eagle\'s breast. The surfaces show numerous scratches, contact marks, and abrasions. Both specimens display significant dark, mottled toning and patina across the obverse and reverse surfaces. Neither coin is housed in a professional third-party grading slab.
