Description
This lot consists of a single underlever cocking spring-piston air rifle chambered for .177 caliber pellets, a design strongly associated with the Shanghai Air Gun Factory and often marketed as the Model B3. The rifle is configured with a blued finish on the metal components, including the barrel, receiver, and cocking lever. The underlever mechanism features a knurled grip at the muzzle end to aid in the cocking process. The stock is crafted from a smooth, stained hardwood and features a distinct cheekpiece and a black composite buttpad. Sighting is handled by a hooded front post and a tangent-style rear sight adjustable for elevation. Sling swivels are mounted on the left side of the buttstock and at the forward cocking lever hinge. There are no clearly legible manufacturer markings or serial numbers visible on the metalwork, which is characteristic of many export versions of this model. The overall profile and feature set are consistent with the B3 series of air rifles.
Condition report:
The air rifle is in good used condition. The blued finish remains largely intact on the receiver and barrel but displays scattered areas of light surface oxidation and minor thinning. The wooden stock is structurally sound with no visible cracks, showing a variety of minor scuffs, scratches, and small dings throughout from handling and use. The black buttpad shows minor wear but remains securely attached. The bore was not internally inspected, but the muzzle remains clear. The underlever cocking action and trigger appear to function mechanically, though the rifle has not been function-tested for velocity or air seal integrity.
