Description
This lot consists of three boxes, totaling 150 rounds, of Winchester Boy Scouts of America 75th Anniversary commemorative ammunition chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Each individual box contains 50 rounds featuring copper-plated bullets and nickel-plated casings. The commemorative packaging is decorated with artwork depicting scouts at a shooting range and carries the official Boy Scouts of America emblem. Key markings on the end flaps include WINCHESTER, Boy Scouts of America, 22 Long Rifle Rimfire, 75th Anniversary, Commemorative Ammunition, and 50 ROUNDS. The headstamps of the individual cartridges are embossed with the Boy Scouts of America fleur-de-lis and the number 75. The cartridges are organized in their original internal cardboard trays within the commemorative outer sleeves.
Condition report:
The three boxes show minor shelf wear consistent with age, including light softening of the corners and slight fraying along the edges of the cardboard. The ammunition appears to be in excellent condition with no visible corrosion or oxidation on the nickel cases or copper-plated projectiles. The printed labels and artwork remain clear and the colors are vibrant. The rounds appear to be live and factory-loaded.
