Description
This Remington Model 1100 LT-20 is a semi-automatic shotgun chambered for 20 gauge, 2-3/4 inch shells intended for field use. It is equipped with a 26 inch ventilated rib barrel designed for 2-3/4 inch loads. The receiver and barrel feature a high-polish blued finish. The furniture is comprised of a checkered walnut pistol grip stock and matching forend, both treated with a high-gloss finish. Sights consist of a single white front bead mounted on the ventilated rib. The firearm is fitted with a brown rubber recoil pad embossed with the Remington logo and a black pistol grip cap featuring a gold-toned crest. Key markings include the model designation Remington 1100 and the serial number R032928K engraved on the left side of the receiver. Barrel markings specify REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC., ILION, N.Y., U.S.A. on the top, and the right side is marked 20 GA. LT-20 and FOR 2 3/4 IN. SHELLS, with proof marks including F and REP inside an oval also visible. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in very good physical condition, retaining most of its original blued finish on the receiver and barrel. There are minor surface scratches and very light edge wear consistent with careful handling. The bore is bright and appears clean. The high-gloss walnut stock and forend are in attractive condition with well-defined checkering, showing only a few faint dings and handling marks. The action is smooth and cycles as expected. The rubber recoil pad remains supple with minimal wear.
