Description
This set of RCBS Mark II reloading dies is designed for the .30-06 Springfield cartridge and is housed in its original green plastic Precisioneered storage box from the Omark Industries Sporting Equipment Division. The lot consists of a pair of dies including a full-length sizer and decapper die and a bullet seating die. Key markings include the caliber designation and sizer die stamp 16 MARK II while the black knurled locking ring is marked MARK RUPP with star symbols on either side. The set is configured for standard metallic cartridge reloading and fits standard 7/8-14 thread presses. Both dies feature polished steel bodies with knurled adjustment sections and locking rings to maintain consistent reloading settings.
Condition report:
The dies exhibit signs of use including surface grime, residue, and light oxidation within the knurled and threaded areas. The steel bodies show minor handling marks and light finish wear but no significant pitting or structural damage. The decapping pin is present and appears to be in usable condition. The green plastic case shows scuffs, scratches, and internal dirt consistent with age and storage in a workshop environment.
