Description
This lot features a vintage Lee Loader manual hand-reloading kit chambered for the .257 Remington Roberts caliber, designed for neck-sizing and loading rifle ammunition without the use of a standard bench press. The set is housed in its original red cardboard base with a white styrofoam insert and a black printed lid. The kit includes its primary components: a chrome-finished die body, a long black metal seating rod, a shorter black metal decapping punch, a black metal base ring, and a red plastic-headed mallet. Verbatim markings on the lid include the red oval Lee logo and the text LEE LOADER and COMPLETE RELOADING TOOL-QUALITY BUILT, with a side label identifying the caliber as 257 REM. ROB. Condition report:

The metal components are in good condition, retaining a bright chrome finish on the die and a consistent black finish on the rods and base ring with no evidence of rust or pitting. The red plastic mallet head shows minor strike marks from use but remains structurally sound and free of cracks.
