Description
A lot of 50 rounds of .22 W.R.F. Winchester Rimfire ammunition is presented in a vintage Federal Cartridge Corp. XL brand two-piece cardboard box. The packaging features a distinctive blue and orange graphic design with an illustration of a rifleman in buckskin attire aiming at a target. Transcribed markings on the box include XL CARTRIDGES, .22 W.R.F., XCESS SPEED, and .22 WINCHESTER, with the manufacturer identified as FEDERAL CARTRIDGE CORP. MINNEAPOLIS, MINN., U.S.A. The bottom of the box contains a detailed warranty statement and a copyright date of 1937.
