Description
A Knight Mountaineer bolt action muzzleloading rifle chambered in .45 caliber, designed for high-performance hunting and target shooting. The firearm features a fluted barrel with a matte black finish and is mounted in a gray and black laminated wood stock with a textured pistol grip and a black rubber Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. It is equipped with an adjustable Williams fiber optic rear sight, a green fiber optic front sight, two-piece scope bases, and an under-barrel ramrod with a brass-colored tip. Prominent markings on the barrel include the KNIGHT name, the Mountaineer model designation, .45 CAL BLACK POWDER, and MADE IN USA, as well as US patent numbers 5,915,934, 6,189,233, 6,647,633, and 6,796,069. The receiver is marked with the serial number MT00045. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
This rifle is in very good physical condition. The matte black finish on the fluted barrel and receiver is well-preserved, showing only light handling wear and a few minor scuffs. The gray laminated stock is in excellent condition with a smooth finish and no significant dings or scratches. The bore is bright with crisp rifling, and the action appears to function correctly, though the firearm has not been test-fired. All sights and mounting hardware are present and securely attached.
