Description
This lot consists of 80 rounds of centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in .280 Remington, distributed across four original boxes containing 20 rounds each. The ammunition features 165-grain Core-Lokt soft point bullets. The cardboard packaging includes three boxes labeled as Express Core-Lokt and one labeled Core-Lokt, with one Express box specifically designated as High Velocity. Verbatim markings on the cartridge headstamps include R-P 280 REM. Box markings specify the caliber as 280 Remington and denote the projectiles as 165 GR. CORE-LOKT SP, while the packaging side panels further state that the cartridges are suitable for use in 7mm Express Remington. Product codes R280R and R280R2 are present on the box end flaps.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in live and good condition with light tarnish noted on some of the brass casings. The lead soft point tips remain intact and properly formed. The four original boxes show moderate shelf wear, including surface scuffs, corner fraying, and a handwritten price of 17.99 on one end flap.
