Description
This Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk is a single-action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum, designed for target shooting and big game hunting. It features a 7.5-inch barrel equipped with a ramped front sight and a micro-adjustable rear target sight. The firearm is constructed with a solid steel frame and a smooth, non-fluted cylinder, all finished in a deep, high-polish blue. It is fitted with the characteristic square-backed trigger guard associated with the Super Blackhawk model and features black checkered synthetic grips with Ruger medallions. Verbatim markings on the top of the barrel include STURM, RUGER & CO. INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. followed by the Ruger logo. The left side of the frame is stamped RUGER SUPER BLACKHAWK 44 MAGNUM CAL. while the right side of the frame displays the serial number 80-46098. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in very good condition, retaining the vast majority of its original polished blued finish. Minor thinning is visible at the muzzle and there is a faint cylinder turn line. The bore is bright with sharp, clean rifling. The black synthetic grips are in excellent condition with crisp checkering and no notable dings. The mechanical action is smooth with tight cylinder lockup and a crisp trigger release.
