Description
This is a Browning A-Bolt Medallion bolt action rifle chambered in .223 WSSM, designed as a premium sporting arm for long-range precision and varmint hunting. The rifle features a high-polish blued finish on the barrel and receiver, with the action and floorplate showcasing decorative scroll engraving. It is fitted with a high-gloss, checkered walnut stock featuring a rosewood-style forend tip and grip cap. Technical specifications include a 23 inch barrel, a gold-plated trigger, and a detachable box magazine. The receiver is mounted with a Burris Fullfield E1 4.5-14x42mm scope on two-piece rings, featuring a specialized ballistic reticle for distance shooting. Verbatim markings on the receiver include the serial number 11258MW351 engraved within a scrollwork border on the left side, while the right side is engraved with the model name MEDALLION. The left side of the barrel is marked PAT. 4723369 A-BOLT CAL. 223 WSSM ONLY and the right side is marked BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH / MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU. The rifle is completed with a black rubber recoil pad marked Browning Co. and features the gold Browning buck logo on the trigger guard. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition with some visible handling wear. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver remains strong and deep, with minor thinning and finish wear observed at the muzzle. The checkered walnut stock shows several shallow surface scratches and small dings, particularly on the left side of the buttstock and the right side near the forend, though the wood remains structurally sound with no cracks. The bore has not been internally inspected but appears clean with sharp rifling visible at the muzzle. The bolt action cycles smoothly and the trigger pull is crisp; the firearm has not been live-fire tested for functionality. The Burris optic features clear glass and functioning adjustment turrets.
