Description
This lot features a mixed three-piece reloading die set chambered for 7-30 Waters, organized within a signature orange Lyman plastic storage case. The set includes a variety of manufacturers, featuring one die marked TERS SIZE K9, a second die marked LYMAN, and a third die marked LEE. The dies are constructed with knurled gripping surfaces and adjustable lock rings, though the Lee-branded component utilizes a distinct lock ring style compared to the others. The exterior of the case retains its original factory label which specifies 2 DIE SET, 7-30 WATERS, SHELL HLD X-6, and PART NO. 7459123. The label further identifies the manufacturer as LYMAN PRODUCTS MIDDLEFIELD CT. Note that while the case is labeled for two dies, it currently contains three individual dies, and the shell holder indicated on the label is not included with this lot.
Condition report:
The dies are in used condition, exhibiting areas of light surface oxidation and minor rust, primarily concentrated on the knurled bodies and the adjustment hardware. The threaded sections appear to be in functional condition with no significant cross-threading or major damage observed. The orange plastic storage case shows minor external scuffs and shelf wear but remains structurally sound and secure. We have not tested these dies for reloading functionality or precision.
