Description
This lot consists of two Western-style tooled leather pistol holsters. The first item is a medium brown leather holster featuring geometric border tooling and a top-strap closure secured by a brass snap, with a wide stitched-on belt loop on the reverse. The second item is an H.H. Heiser Model 745 flap holster crafted from dark brown leather. It is decorated with an ornate circular floral pattern on the flap and floral tooling across the body, utilizing a brass stud closure and a riveted leather belt loop on the reverse. Verbatim markings stamped on the reverse of the second holster specify S 7 4 5 E over 1 1. Both holsters show signs of significant use and age, characterized by surface scuffing, darkening of the leather, and heavy creasing throughout the material.
Condition report:
Both holsters are in well-used condition. The leather surfaces exhibit significant scuffing, scratches, and darkening consistent with age and field use. Heavy creasing is present on the flaps and closing straps. The brass hardware, including the snap and stud, shows a dark patina and signs of oxidation but remains functional. The stitching appears largely intact, although there is minor fraying at the high-wear edges.
