Description
This lot features a reloading equipment set and ammunition for the 7mm Bench Rest Remington caliber. The primary component is an RCBS full-length two-die set, part number 34101, designed for precision rifle reloading. The set is contained within its original green plastic RCBS case and includes a full-length sizing die, a bullet seating die, and the original product instruction manual. Markings on the case label designate it as an F L DIE SET 7MM B R REM with instructions to use shell holder #3. Included with the dies are 40 rounds of 7mm Bench Rest Remington ammunition. The cartridges utilize Remington brass casings and are topped with jacketed pointed soft-point bullets. The ammunition is accompanied by two vintage Remington green cardboard boxes originally for empty center fire cases, which bear handwritten notations of 7mm BENCH REST. The cartridge headstamps are clearly marked R – P 7mm BR REM.
Condition report:
The RCBS die set and plastic case appear in good used condition with minor surface wear. The sizing and seating dies show typical signs of use but no significant rust or damage. The vintage Remington cardboard boxes exhibit heavy surface wear, rubbing, and edge fraying consistent with age. The ammunition casings are generally bright with some minor tarnishing, and the bullets appear securely seated. The ammunition appears to be live; however, we have not function-tested the rounds and recommend they be inspected by a qualified professional before use.
