Description
This lot comprises 300 total reloading bullet tips intended for high-power handgun calibers, specifically .475 Cal and .50 Caliber applications. The collection includes four 50-count black plastic boxes from Speer Bullets and two 50-count cardboard boxes from the Oregon Trail Bullet Company. The Speer assortment consists of two boxes of 400 grain Deepcurl Soft Point projectiles and two boxes of 400 grain Gold Dot Handgun Hunting Soft Point projectiles, both specified for .475 caliber. These Speer components feature copper jackets with exposed lead tips. The Oregon Trail True Shot boxes contain 355 grain Wide Nose Flat Point premium silver alloy bullets with gas checks, sized at .476 diameter for .480 caliber cartridges. These cast lead projectiles exhibit visible green lubrication rings and copper base gas checks. Verbatim box markings for the Speer products include Speer Bullets Gold Dot Handgun Hunting 475 Cal (.475 inch) 400 GR GDSP 50 CT 3976 and Speer Bullets Deepcurl Hunting 475 Caliber 400 Grain 50 CT 3976. Condition report:
The projectiles appear to be in unused condition with clean jackets and well-defined casting. The Speer copper jackets show no significant oxidation or tarnishing. The True Shot lead alloy bullets retain their factory green lubricant and the copper gas checks are securely seated on the bases. The packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear consistent with storage, including transparent tape reinforcement and adhesive residue on the Speer plastic boxes, and minor corner fraying and surface scuffing on the cardboard True Shot boxes. All factory labels remain legible and intact.
