Description
This lot comprises four US Eisenhower silver dollars struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1972. Each coin is composed of 40 percent silver and 60 percent copper-nickel cladding, as specified in the included official US Treasury documentation. The coins feature the Eisenhower profile obverse with the S mint mark and the Apollo 11 mission insignia reverse. Each specimen is housed in its original US Mint blue-tinted pliofilm soft plastic packaging. Accompanying each coin is a blue-enameled plastic token featuring a silver-colored eagle and the inscription EISENHOWER UNCIRCULATED SILVER DOLLAR, along with the original informational insert detailing the coin’s composition and strike quality.
Condition report:
The coins are in original uncirculated condition with brilliant luster. Minor contact marks from the high-speed minting process are visible. Light peripheral toning and small areas of spotting, common for silver issues in original pliofilm packaging, are present on the surfaces. The plastic packaging remains intact and sealed.
