Description
This Henry Repeating Arms Golden Boy is a lever-action rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, well-suited for target shooting and small game hunting. The rifle is equipped with a 20-inch blued octagonal barrel and a full-length tubular magazine capable of holding multiple rounds. The receiver, barrel band, and buttplate feature a high-polish brass-tone finish. It is fitted with a smooth American walnut straight-grip stock and a matching wood forearm. Sighting is handled by an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a reversible white diamond insert and a brass-bead front sight. Key markings on the barrel include the manufacturer and location Henry Repeating Arms Bklyn NY and the caliber designation Cal. 22 L.R. The serial number GB113444 is stamped on the underside of the receiver. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in excellent overall condition, appearing to have been well-maintained. The blued finish on the barrel and magazine tube is deep and consistent with virtually no signs of wear. The polished brass-finish receiver and furniture show a high luster, with only a few minor surface handling marks and very light scratches visible upon close inspection. The American walnut stock and forearm are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant dings. The bore is bright with strong, sharp rifling. The lever action appears to function smoothly and correctly, though the firearm has not been test-fired.
